Telios Namibia Consulting Engineers (Pty) Ltd. was commissioned to review the Swakopmund Zoning Scheme starting 1st April, 2019, and specifically to:

  • Incorporate the large volume of variations made over the past 17 years into the Scheme.
  • Review clauses so as to adequately address the present urban climate.
  • Integrate variations into a functional document.
  • Introduce new clauses that improve local governance.

The final approved Swakopmund Amendment Scheme 71 is available for downloading.
